This free conference about the future of work is open to teachers, parents, students and career advisors.

Our East Midlands conference promises to inspire young people across the region (plus parents/carers and teachers), helping to educate them about the huge variety of exciting careers in manufacturing and design.

The JCB Academy is renowned for developing engineers and business leaders of the future. Many of its alumni who have taken placements on engineering apprenticeships have made it to senior positions in their companies. And many former students now work at JCB, Rolls-Royce, Toyota, Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover and National Grid.

Our Future of Work conference will showcase presentations from a number of rising star apprentices from brands such as these, as well as expert speakers covering AI and climate change /sustainability and their impact on manufacturing jobs of the future.

Being held on Wednesday 23rd October at 5.00pm - 8.30pm, not only will we hear from inspirational rising stars in the workplace, attendees will also be treated to an expert keynote session, panel debate and Q&A.

We’ll give attendees plenty of opportunity to ask questions, connect with large and small local employers and organisations who can help with skills in the workplace and what the next steps are.  There will also be time for networking and chatting to local businesses about careers, skills and the future of work, before and after the conference.

Don't miss out

We invite teachers, careers advisors, students and parents / carers to join us at this unmissable event!
